Mary Eleanor LerchMary Eleanor (Biller) Lerch died on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 88.Born and raised in Latrobe, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Agnes (Short) and Charles Paul Biller, Mrs. Lerch attended Latrobe schools, graduating Latrobe High School in 1945 and Latrobe Hospital School of Nursing in 1948.She was employed with Latrobe Hospital, Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA and Pennswood Village, Newtown, PA. Mrs. Lerch had been a 45 year resident of Fairless Hills prior to moving to Attleboro in Langhorne 15 years ago.As an Attleboro resident, Mrs. Lerch enjoyed volunteering and enjoyed being of service to others and will be remembered well as a friend to many. She had also volunteered at Saint Mary Medical Center for many years.Mrs. Lerch was a former and original member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish in Fairless Hills and was a current member of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Penndel.Beloved wife of 46 years to the late John W. "Jack", Mrs. Lerch is the loving mother of Barbara Dicks (Bob), Kathy Peterson (Bill), John (Lynne), David (Kay), Fred (Linda) and Mary Roman (Jimmy).She will also be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Jean Abraham; and many nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Attleboro for their loving friendship and caring support while Mom was a resident.Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Wednesday, at precisely 11:00 am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, PA 19047. There are no calling hours. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030 or to Our Lady of Grace Church at the above address. .
