Mary M. Krick Mary M. Krick born March 14, 1926, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the age of 88. Born in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Thomas and Kathryn Mellon, Mary was a resident of Levittown for over 60 years. Mary was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in 1944 and has been an active supporter and benefactor of the school for many years. As a Registered Nurse she trained under the U.S. Nurses Cadet program at St. Joseph Hospital where she graduated in 1946. After taking time off to raise her family she worked as an RN at Lower Bucks Hospital for 25 years retiring in 1992. Loving mother of Gregory, Maureen Schavoni (Philip), Stephen (Mary), Donald (Rhonda), Susan Lakeway, Lawrence (Eileen), and Christine Sweetman (William). She is the proud grandmother of Lauren, Adam, Alex, Julie, Andrew, Mark, Samantha, Victoria, Pete, Matthew, Shannon, Jodi, Danielle and Tyler. Mary will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, life long friends Josephine Macconi and Pat Fair and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother Thomas (WWII), two sisters, Kathleen Sacks and Dorothy Rafferty. Mary and her sisters were the best of friends and were considered the "three musketeers". They loved traveling together especially anywhere there was a beach. Family and firiends are invited to call on Thursday from 9 until 10 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary's name may be made to Little Flower Catholic High School, 1000 West Lycoming Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
