Marjorie Sarah Llewellyn

Marjorie Sarah "Margie" Llewellyn passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was 77.Born in McAdoo, PA, the daughter of the late Marguerite (Miller) and Hudson Houser, Margie resided until her marriage in Beaver Brook, PA. She was a 1957 graduate of Hazle Township High School in Hazleton. Margie has been a Fairless Hills resident since 1961 and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Fairless Hills for over 50 years.Throughout the years, Margie was employed with Carter Wallace and various factories within the garment industury.She was an avid seamstress and crafter. Margie also loved to bake, make candy and was a fabulous cookie maker. She enjoyed selling many of her crafts, cookies and candies throughout the years.Margie is the beloved wife of 56 years to Albert G. Llewellyn and the loving mother of Lori Bezick (Richard) of Buckeye, AZ; Albert Todd Llewellyn (Heather) of Levittown; and Linda Stoop (Todd) of Fairless Hills.She is the devoted grandmother of Jennifer Scatchard (David), Amanda Roum (Stephen), Courtney Yeager (Eric), and Trevor Stoop; and the proud great grandmother of Claire Hoffmann, Ava Roum and Colette Scatchard.Margie will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Margie Houser; her aunt, Doris Houser; best friends, June and Bob Sendlock; and Harry Stoop and Christine Bezick who she considered family. She will also be greatly missed by her protector and companion, her little dog, Mia.Margie was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Shirley Seery and Janet Boandl, twin sister, Marilynn Romanchik and brother Henry Daniel Houser.The family would like to acknowledge and thank all of the staff and friends of the Life at Saint Mary Elder Center who have assisted them for the last 2 years. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Friends may also call again on Monday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at First United Methodist Church of Fairless Hills, 840 Trenton Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Entombent will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.Memorial contributions in Margie's name may be made to the First United Methodist Church, at the above address.
