Marie P. Weston

Marie P. Weston Marie P. Weston died on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. She was 88. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was formerly of the Swamp Poodle section of the city. Mrs. Weston was a former Levittown resident moving into the Junewood section in 1956 and residing there until 2008. She enjoyed her summer vacations in Wildwood, NJ. Mrs. Weston also enjoyed playing the piano, casinos and bingo. Her favorite enjoyment was listening to the Doo Wop music of the 1950s Mrs. Weston was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer J. and her two grandchildren, Lisa Lambeck-Gray and William J. Lambeck. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Barbara A. Iverson (Roger) of Whitehall, Wis. and Joseph E. Weston (Maryann) of Levittown, her 8 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers-in-law, Charles Weston of Philadelphia and Raymond Weston of Malaga, NJ. Mrs. Weston will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, from 10:00 until 11:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park.
