Margaret Murray

On December 30, 2009 Peg was granted eternal peace and embraced by the loving arms of the Lord surrounded by her beloved husband and children. She passed with courage and dignity befitting a woman of remarkable faith. Formerly of Levittown, Peg and her husband Jack had enjoyed 17 years at a bustling retirement community in Clearwater, Florida. where she stayed active dancing, doing water aerobics, playing bingo and assuming community service positions. Preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Harrington and her son Danny, Peg is survived by her husband Jack Murray and his children, Marylee Gervin, Maureen Goldblum, Rosalie Black, Patricia Notarfrancesco, John Murray, Kate Murray and Michael Murray. Peg's surviving children are Jim Harrington, Peggy Higgins, Michael Harrington, Mary Curran and Nora Roarty. Twenty-five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews will also cherish her memory. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery.
