Born in Wilkes Barre PA, Lois was the only child of Catherine Haas Evans and William Evans.
She met and married Clarence in 1951, and together they left the coal mines of Pennsylvania to come to the newly built Levittown to own a piece of the American dream. As her husband worked at the "mill", Lois worked at Pomeroys, Kanes Super Market and finally settled in as a real estate agent at the age of 53 at her daughters real estate firm. "Mom", as she was known to most, helped many a young couple find their forever home.
Fiercely loyal and endlessly loving and giving, Lois's 6 children always knew mom had their backs. Lois loved her dogs, her diet coke, Las Vegas pizza, a good mystery novel, her "Sung" cologne, (sometimes way too much), traveling to the shore with her best friend Aunt Lil and completing the day with a daily Busch Lite.
Lois is a member of the Queen of the Universe Parish in Levittown.
She is survived by 6 children, Donna Rybovic (Emil), Clarence"Chuck" Kemmerer (Colleen), David Kemmerer (Mary Jo), Robin Kemmerer (Michael Bolf), William "Bill" Kemmerer (Cheryl), Kelly Kemmerer; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren
She follows in death her husband Clarence and her grandson Shawn
Lois' immediate family wants to give special thanks to all that were her "surrogate" family at Neshaminy Manor and Attleboro Nursing Home.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 10:00 until 11:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr.
