Lisa Ann DaviesLisa Ann Davies passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 43.Born in Hackensack, NJ and raised in Bergenfield, NJ, the daughter of Mary Ann (Finnegan) Buitekant and the late Michael Buitekant, Lisa was a 1990 graduate of Bergenfield High School where she was also a member of the Marching Band. She has been a resident of Middletown Township for the past 13 years and a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown Lisa achieved her Bachelors Degree from Kutztown University in 1994 and her Masters Degree from Gratz College. She was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority.Lisa was an elementary school teacher at Lincoln Elementary and George Washington Elementary Schools in the Bristol Township School District since 1999 until the time of her illness.Most important to her was the love of children and making others smile.Beloved wife of 16 years to Jeffrey Davies, Lisa is the loving mother of Merin, Kaelan and Ryley. She will also be sadly missed by her dear sister, Laurie Adams (Christopher) and several extended family members.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am.
