Lewis R. Glessner Lewis R. Glessner passed on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 93. Born in Ashland, PA, he was a graduate of Ashland High School and, made his home in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia since 1953. After graduating high school, Lewis went on to join the Air Force and was a proud World War II veteran. Until his retirement, he was employed for as an electrician at the Keebler Biscuit Company in Philadelphia for 30 years. After his retirement, he and his wife spent time traveling across the country enjoying life. Lewis was an avid Phillies fan. He volunteered at various churches in the Germantown area and always enjoyed helping others, especially with their electrical needs. Most of all, Lewis loved trips to the Jersey Shore and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (Eagan), Lewis is the loving father of Louis R. and his wife, Arlette and James R. and his wife, Suzanne. He is the devoted grandfather of Suzette Cunicelli and her husband, Chris, Christopher and his wife, Jennifer, James M. and his wife, Michelle and Jason and his wife, Jenn Glessner; the proud great grandfather of Michael, Daniel, Kyle, James and Meghan; and brother of Robert. He was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Peter; his brother, Raymond; and sisters, Stella, Gertrude and Marie. Services and interment will be held privately.
