Kathleen E. Wolstenholme of Levittown died on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her home. She was 57. Born in Philadelphia, Kathy was a life long resident of Levittown and was a 1974 graduate of Neshaminy High School. Kathleen became a registered nurse and then worked as a claims adjuster at New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Group for 25 years until retiring in 2013. Kathy enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and lived for her dogs Javier and Madison. She will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful smile. She was always the life of the party and loved spending time with her family and friends, but most of all she was a loving and devoted care taker to her granddaughter. Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter Lauren Kathleen and her father Joseph R. Ehling. She was the loving mother of Joseph John Wolstenholme and the devoted grandmother of Brooke Olivia. She was the daughter of Letitia Ehling and was the sister of Theresa Watson (Tim), Joseph P. Ehling (Meredyth), James A. Ehling (Linda) and Charles P. Ehling (Maria). She will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and her former mother-in-law Joan Wolstenholme. Family and friends are invited to call Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 10 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
