Karen Hughes

Born in Norwood, PA, the daughter of Joyce (Lyon) Brown, Karen was a 1988 graduate of Interboro High School.

She was a lunch aide with the Neshaminy School District for many years and was a proud supporter and team mom for the Bucks County Legends Baseball Team.

Karen loved watching Jeopardy with her husband and spending time with her family at their beach home in Wildwood.

Beloved wife of 19 years to John, Mrs. Hughes is the loving mother of Evan Joseph and stepmom to Matt.

She will also be sadly missed by her uncle, Robert Lyon; cousin, Melissa Dettmann; and extended family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Karen may be made to The Evan Joseph College Fund and mailed to First National Bank, 40 S. State Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
