June D. Whyte Menhart, of Levittown died on Friday, January 8, 2010 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 75. Born in Abington, Mrs. Menhart has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County and graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1953. She has resided in Middletown Township since 1964. She was employed with Bell Telephone in Levittown for 25 years until retiring in 1989. She was a member of Queen of the Universe Church and served as an Eucharistic Minister at the Church and at St. Mary Medical Center. Mrs. Menhart was a member of the Neshaminy Chapter #374 OES. She was also a former member of Spiffy's Clown Gang. She was preceded in death by her her first husband of 29 years Thomas Whyte, her parents Clifford and Doris (Welch) Darrah and her sister Patricia Favoroso. Mrs. Menhart is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years Robert S. Menhart She was the loving mother of Nancy J. Moldovan and her husband Bruce of Levittown and Gail A. DeFeo and her husband Dante of Henrico, VA and the devoted grandmother of Tara R., Jeff T. and Lauren M. Moldovan. She is also survived by her stepchildren Deborah Chychota and her husband Richard and Rose Piacentino and her husband Matt of Harleysville, Diane Ricker and her husband William of Levittown, Linda Giniewski of York, and Robert Menahrt and his wife Julie of Dallas, TX; 13 step grandchildren; and 1 sister Kathleen Kelly of Montgomery Township. Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Queen of the Universe Church followed by Rite of Committal in Newtown Cemetery.
