Born in Kutztown, PA, Joy has been a longtime resident of Levittown. She was employed at Frey's Bakery, and retired as Customer Service Agent for New Jersey Manufacturers after over 20 years.
Joy enjoyed sewing, gardening, word search puzzles, Hallmark channel and cake decorating.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband William; her son, Lee Snedeker; and her daughter-in-law, Debbie; she is survived by her adoring children, Linda "Lyn" Crompton (Douglas), Dale Snedeker, and Gary Snedeker (Bonnie); 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Ewing Cemetery, 76 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ.
