Joseph J. Quinn Joseph J. Quinn died at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 after a courageous battle with leukemia. He was 53. Born in Bristol Township, the son of Mary (Gavin) Quinn and the late Paul Quinn, he was a lifetime Lower Bucks County resident, formerly residing in Bristol Township, Middletown Township and currently in Lower Makefield Township for the past 10 years. He was a 1976 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. Mr. Quinn was the owner/operator of Valley Electric for 33 years. He was an active real estate developer and was involved in many real estate ventures. Mr. Quinn was an avid golfer and sports fan, especially when it came to his favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies. He leaves behind his beloved wife Janice with whom he spent 26 years, his loving son, Stephen Miller (Amber), his brother-in-law, Jack Lang (Chris) and his sister-in-law, Judy Lang and his mother-in-law Mary Jo Lang (the late Jack) all of Bucks County. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Mindy, Christopher, Danielle. Mr. Quinn also leaves behind his brothers and sister, Paul (Deborah), Larry (Gerri), Ralph (Marilyn), Dennis, Tina Vaccaro (Tony), his sister-in-law, Jean Ann and several other nieces and nephews, Alicia, Christopher, Erin, Frank, Ryan, Gregory, Patrick, Bret, Michele, John and Caitlin. He was preceded in death by his brother Frank. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., where his Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
