Joseph A. Milewski Joseph A. "Milo" Milewski died surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 11, 2010. He was 71. Born in Ashland, PA the son of the late Edna (Jablonski) and Joseph P. Milewski, he was raised in Kulpmont, PA and was a proud "Coal Cracker". He was a graduate of Kulpmont High School where he was a standout athlete. He has been a resident of Levittown since 1965 and was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish. He continued his interest in sports attending the games of his children and grandchildren, occasionally coaching. He served in the U.S. Army and felt proud to have marched n JFK's inaugural parade. Later, he earned an Associates Degree at Bucks County Community College. He was employed as a Production Control Manager at Lockheed Martin in their Aerospace Division in King of Prussia for 30 years until his retirement in 1999. After retiring he held various part time jobs. Milo's many interests included wood carving, golf, Polish culture, cub scouts, going to the beach, travel and cooking at which he excelled. When his sons were in preschool he acted in their parent plays as Poppa Smurf, the Cowardly Lion and White Rabbit. While on a riverboat tour of Russia, he brought much laughter to all on board as the Dying Swan. He will be loving remembered as a totally unselfish and nurturing man. Beloved husband of 45 years to Ann Marie (Chesney) he is the loving father of Mark J. (Krista) of Havertown, Matthew J. (Kalleen) of Mount Carmel and Michael J. of Levittown and the devoted grandfather of Molly Katherine, Lilly Grace, Trey Alexander, Jessica LaShae, Damen Jozef, Michael P. and Mason Joseph. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Peter of New Hampshire and Paul of Enola, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:30 until 10:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Mt. Carmel, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Mass Cards or memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, Bux-Mont High Point Professional Building, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 201, Chalfont, PA 18914 would be appreciated.
