Joseph F. McHugh, of Fairless Hills, died on Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 78. Born and raised in Shenandoah, PA, Mr. McHugh was a 1950 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School. He has resided in Fairless Hills for the past 60 years. Mr. McHugh was employed as a crane operator at U.S. Steel for over 35 years until retiring in 1989 and following his retirement he worked in maintenance at the Pen Ryn School in Fairless Hills for 10 years. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish and the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council #4215. Mr. McHugh enjoyed camping and traveling with his late wife. He was an avid golfer. Mr. McHugh was the beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Gaughan) McHugh and father of the late Kathleen McHugh. He was the loving father of Joseph F. McHugh Jr. (the late Marianne) of Fairless Hills, Patricia Ockford (William) of Langhorne, Mary Jo McHugh (Katie) of Langhorne and Michael McHugh of Mantua, NJ. He was the devoted grandfather of Joan Marie, Colleen, Jenna, Joey III, Lauren, David and Ryan and the great grandfather of Izzy and Teagan. He was the brother of Helene Grutza (the late Jack), Cathy Kufro (James) of Shenandoah, the late Ann (the late Vince) and the late William (the late Helene). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection. Memorial contributions may be made to the The Michael J.
