He is survived by his wife, Adelaide (Schwank); daughter, Alexandria Pane (Christopher); brothers, Thomas (Theresa), John, Kevin; sister, Peggy Spiller (Andy); sister-in-law, Jacqueline Mansfield; 9 nieces, 5 nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
Joe was proud of his trade as your friendly meat cutter of over 35 years at various supermarkets throughout the Philadelphia area. For the past 30 years he was employed at IGA Shops of Port Richmond where he had so many loving and caring friends.
Joe enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing golf as well as watching golf, Indy Car racing, fishing and playing cards. His love of history made him a genius at Jeopardy.
His big smile and bear hugs will be so greatly missed by many.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, Aug 30, 2021, from 9:30-11 a.m. at Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Road, Philadelphia, where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
