Joseph F. Collier Joseph F. Collier passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 75. Born in Philadelphia, the son of late Francis and Anne E. (Kirk) Collier, and a graduate of Roman Catholic High School, Mr. Collier was a long time resident of Levittown. Joe worked for 35 years as a postal clerk in conjuction with the US Customs Department at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. After his retirement from the post office, he went on to work as a messenger with the Attorney General's office of the State of New Jersey for 17 years. Joe served as a Corporal with the US Marine Corps from 1954 until 1957 and then was in the reserves until 1962. He was an avid golfer and in 2012 took 1st Place in the Linksmasters Golf League. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #960, Levittown and the Elks Lodge #2023, Morrisville. Joe loved the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Beloved husband of 44 years to Celestine (Stefanick), Joe was the loving brother of Patricia Kormuth (Robert), Robert Collier (Pat), Timothy Collier, Andrew Collier (Christine), Frances Johnson and Margaret Collier. He will also be sadly missed by numeraous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 8:00 until 9:15 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 10:30 am.
