John T. McColganJohn T. McColgan died peacefully surrounded by his family, on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Chandler Hall in Newtown at the age of 63, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.Born in Philadelphia, John has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1974 and a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown.John has been self employed as a Masonry Contractor with his family owned business, McColgan's Masonry for over 45 years.He enjoyed all the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles, for which he has had season tickets since 1976! John also loved being on the beach at Wildwood, NJ with his family.Beloved husband of 43 years to Diane M. (Serano), John is the loving father of Michael (Leah Ann) and Jennifer Mooney (Bill).He will also be sadly missed by grandsons, who were his prides and joys, Ryan and Danny McColgan and Liam and Sean Mooney.Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, from 6:00 until 9:00 and on Thursday, December 14, 2017, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
