

John P. "Jack" McShea passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Attleboro Nursing and Rehab Center in Langhorne at the age of 90.Born in McAdoo, PA, Mr. McShea was an original Levittown homeowner and a longtime member of Queen of the Universe Parish. He has been a Fairless Hills resident for the past 17 years.Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as the Men of Malvern. He belonged to a weekly Rosary Group for many years where he prayed and shared special intentions for everyone in need.A graduate of McAdoo High School, Mr. McShea went to Kutztown University for undergraduate work and achieved his Masters Degree from Rutgers University. He spent his entire career working for Bristol Township School District as both an educator and a principal.Mr. McShea was a proud US Navy WW II veteran.He enjoyed mornings on the golf course with his buddies. Most summer days were spent on the beach in Sea Isle City, making memories with his children and grandchildren. He also spent many years at the lake in the Pocono Pines. His family was truly his most prized possession.Beloved husband of 64 years to Judy (Raymow), Mr. McShea is the incredibly loving father of Garry McShea (Priscilla), James McShea, Thomas McShea (Tracy), Patrick McShea (Judy), and Judy Oswald (Steve).He is the devoted grandfather of Erik (Cara), Alicia, John, Danielle, Brogan, Matthew, Ryan, Chase, Jack, Liam McShea and Stephen and Maggie Oswald; and the proud great grandfather of Michael, Mara Jade and Kaitlyn McShea.Jack is the dear brother of Cecelia Ravina (Leo) and James McShea (Erma).He is predeceased by his parents, Margaret (McNelis) and John Patrick McShea Sr. and his siblings, Sister Theresa Cecelia, IHM and Theresa Tomczak (Theodore).Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 9:30 until 11:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am.
