John Henry Harbison Sr.

He was the loving husband of Mary C Harbison for 70 years.

John was born in Frederica, Delaware on March 14, 1931. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Coral Sea. After his time in the service, he was a machine operator and with his wife Mary ran a local delicatessen. They also participated together in bowling leagues. He was a long time supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by three children: John H.

Harbison Jr. (Roberta) of Shawnee, KS., Richard G. Harbison (Maureen) of Yardley, Pa. and Carol A. Barnhart (Bob) of Willow Grove, Pa. He also had 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his son Michael E. Harbison.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 from 10 am until 10:50 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
