John D. Caro

John D. Caro John passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Chandler Hall after a courageous five year battle with cancer. He was 45. John was born and raised in Levittown. He attended Queen of the Universe elementary school and graduated from Neshaminy High School. Prior to his illness, John worked as a quality control inspector at Moldamatic in Penndel. In his leisure time John enjoyed playing and watching sports. He was a Flyer, Phillie, Sixer, and Eagle fan. John will be sadly missed by his parents Joe and Diane (Darby), his brother Joe Jr., his sister Lisa (Adamitis), her husband Kelly, and two nieces Macy and Jamie. He will also be sadly missed by his aunts Lucia Caro and Grace Hoffner; uncles Tom Caro (Teresa); Don and James Darby. His Godmother Diane Hoffner; cousins Michelle and Sabrina Rosta, Tom and Michael Caro, The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Dr. Carlin Mclaughin and his staff at Regional Hemotology for their compassionate treatment of John. Also, a special thanks to the hospice nurses at Chandler Hall for their care. Family and friends are invited to call from 6 till 8pm Friday evening at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately by the family. The family strongly urges that in lieu of flowers donations in John's name be made to Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 or the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
