Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Barron has been a longtime resident of Lower Bucks County and was a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown.
He served proudly in the US Navy. He worked as a lineman with Amtrak for many years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and also enjoyed spending time with his family, most especially with his grandsons.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Gwen K. (Lashley), Mr. Barron is the loving father of John D. Barron (Doreen) and Joanne Mott (Steve); and is the devoted grandfather of Sean and Mike Barron and Jase and Hunter Mott.
John will also be sadly missed by his brother, Bernard Barron (Lorraine) and many nieces and nephews.
Services and interment will be held privately.
