Joel S. Moreau, 28, born and raised in Linfield, PA, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 24, 2023 due to a hit and run accident while skateboarding. He resided on Farmbrook Avenue in Levittown.
Joel was the youngest of Dennis Moreau Senior and Fay Moreau. His paternal grandparents were the late Louis and Beatrice Moreau and maternal grandparents, the late George and Harriet O’Neill.
He is survived by his siblings, Rachel F. Moreau of Stowe, PA, Dennis E. Moreau Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, and Nicole J. Yosick (Dylan) of Prince Frederick, Maryland. Joel was well loved by family, friends, and coworkers.
He enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, drawing, listening to music, swimming, reading, and video games. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make us all laugh. Joel was a student of SpringFord High school. He graduated from Teen Challenge in Newport News, Virginia, where he also received his GED. After graduating, he worked at Teen Challenge for a year, worked detailing cars at a car auction for seven years, and most recently, he worked at Newtown Starbucks.
Viewing will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 and again on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Royersford Bible Fellowship Church, 431 N. Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468.
A funeral service will occur at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the church.
Cremation will be held privately after services.
