Joan M. Webb of Levittown died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was 84. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Webb has been a resident of Levittown since 1960 and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel parish. She worked for American Standard for over 20 years until retiring in 1990. Mrs. Webb enjoyed taking vacations and trips to Atlantic City. She also enjoyed playing bingo. Mrs. Webb was the beloved wife of the late Nelson E. Webb. She was the loving mother of Nelson E. Webb Jr. and his wife Michele, Marianne Kershaw and her husband William, Carolyn McFadden, Diane Owens and Joan Klimas and her husband Charles. She was the devoted grandmother of Jodi, Robert, Lindsay, Daniel, Kimberly and Ryan and the great grandmother of J.J., Jasmine, Jyiah and Jayden. She was the sister of Theresa Kreuzburg, Peggy Piatek, Kathleen Weil and the late Joseph and Vincent Rodden. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 8 until 9:30 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church followed by Rite of Committal at Resurrection Cemetery.
