Born in Wilmington, DE, Joan was a lifetime Levittown resident. Joan was a teaching assistant at the Lower Bucks Daycare. She was an avid reader, loved history, and enjoyed old-time movies.
Predeceased by her parents, David and Clotilde ("Bee") Morse; she is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gerald A. Simanowith; her daughter; Nancy Tursi, her granddaughter Barbara E. Tursi; her brothers, David Morse, Lee Morse, Paul Morse, and James Morse; and her sisters, Ruth Morse and Catherine Swartz.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, with a funeral mass at 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made in Joan's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monumen Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
