Janet L. BartonJanet L. Barton passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at her home in Yardley at the age of 67.Born in Charleroi, PA, Janet was a longtime resident of Levittown and a very active and devoted member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church until moving to Yardley in 2017. While a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Janet volunteered with CCD, the fair and the decorating committee, as well in other various ways, for many years.Family always came first and Janet cherished time spent with them. Her greatest accomplishment was her 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren.Loving mother of Jennifer Barton, Jill Calligan (Keith) and Jodi Barton, Janet is the devoted grandmother of Michael, Jacob, Sarah and Matthew; and the dear sister of Peter Macko (Irene) and Anita Helbling (William Whelan).Janet is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends, who she considered part of her family.She was an Insurance Underwriter with the AmWins Group for the past 18 years. Janet loved her job and her co-workers and considered them her family.Janet was predeceased by her parents, Sylvia D. (Amatangelo) and Peter G. Macko.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. There will be no calling hours on Saturday morning.
