James W. Johnson James W. Johnson passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home in Levittown. He was 64. He was the son of the late James W. and Rose Marie (Clifford) Johnson. Born in Scranton, Jim has been a long time resident of Levittown. He was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. He retired from US Steel, Fairless Works in 1991. Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council #4215 and the Saint John Neumann Assembly. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. Most important to Jim was spending time with his family. Beloved husband of 45 years to Beverly (Rush), Jim is the loving father of Shawn, Brian (Dawn) and James (Kerry) Johnson. He is the devoted grandfather of Kyle, Nathan, Brianna, Hayley, Madison, Hunter and Mackenzie. Jim will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Michael (Paula), Gerald (Anne), Edward (Ginny) and Susan; his brother-in-law Patrick Rush (Julie) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predecesed by his sister, Barbara Coughlin (the late Richard). Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
