Jacqueline C. Stafford Jacqueline C. Stafford, of Washington Crossing, died on Sunday, December 1, 2013 peacefully at Chandler Hall in Newtown, with her family at her side. She was 84. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Stafford was an original Levittown homeowner for 50 years before moving to Washington Crossing 10 years ago. Prior to her retirement in 1990, Mrs. Stafford was a Director with the IRS for 20 years. She enjoyed extensive traveling throughout her life, most especially with her late husband. She spent her winters in Boynton Beach, Florida. Mrs. Stafford was a former member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish where she was a member of the Sodality, and was currently a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish, Morrisville. She was a member of Bristol Township Seniors and enjoyed trips to the casinos and spending time with her girlfriends. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting various gifts for family and friends. Mrs. Stafford was the beloved wife of 58 years to the late Thomas J. Stafford. She was the loving mother of Jackie and her husband Stan Topolski of Key Colony Beach, FL , Thomas and his wife Eileen Stafford of Doylestown and Susan and her husband Jamie Atkins of Washington Crossing. She was the devoted Nana of Amy; Lauren; Stanley, Katie (Dan), Dan, Kyle and Erin and proud great Nana of Gabe, Danny, Sebastian and Travis. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Josephine Machulsky (Joe) and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville where the family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
