Helen Ryan

Helen Ryan Helen Ryan passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was 89. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Anna Kranyecz. Helen was a resident of Levittown, PA for 55 years. She was the "darling" wife of 65 years to the late Paul L. Ryan. She was the loving mother of Gary T. and his late wife Lissa; Carol A. Leiggi and her husband, John; Donna M. Colsher and her husband, Paul; and Diana L. Ryan-Butts and her husband, Robert. She was also the proud and loving grandmother of Heather Counihan and her husband Richard, Brian Colsher and his wife Pamela, and Ryan Butts, also the proud great-grandmother of Emma, Zachary, Ella, and Carter. Helen is survived by her sister Irene Lewis and husband Jack and several nieces and nephews. Helen enjoyed many things in life, baking, shopping, but most of all making a home for her family. After her first child was born, Helen devoted the rest of her life to taking care of and providing a loving home for her family. She did so with great success. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
