Heather E. MacHenry Heather E. MacHenry died on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 55. Born in Bristol, Heather has been a life long resident of Levittown. She was a 1977 graduate of the former Delhaas High School and was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fairless Hills. Heather achieved her Bachelors Degree in teaching from Holy Family College in 2000 and her Masters Degree in Education from Rider University in 2007, while attending classes in the evening. She was a 6th grade teacher at Maple Shade Elementary School in the Bristol Township School District. Heather was an actress performing in both the Bucks County and Philadelphia communities. She was Vice-President at the Playmasters on was on the Board at Langhorne Players. She was an actress and producer and anything else involved with the theater. Heather appeared in commercial films for many pharmaceutical companies. Heather also enjoyed nature photography. Beloved wife of 27 years to Thomas C. MacHenry, Heather was the loving mother of Eric J. Fitzgerald (Samantha) and Emily J. MacHenry and devoted grandmother of Nathaniel Fitzgerald. She was the daughter of Jean (Dawson) Voorhees and the late Harold Voorhees and sister of Jesse Schol and Paul Voorhees (Pam) and the late Georgia Lee and Amanda Jane Voorhees. Heather will also be sadly missed by her father-in-law, C. William MacHenry; brother-in-law, John MacHenry; sister-in-law, Bonnie MacHenry; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at Christ United Methodist Church, 501 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills where a Celebration of Her Life will take place at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Memorial contributions in Heather's memory may be made to the March of Dimes, 1019 W. 9th Avenue, Suite 1, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
