Harry J. Blair Harry J. Blair died on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, He was 90. Mr. Blair was born and raised in the Kennsington section of Philadelphia. He was a former resident of 38 Quarter Turn Road E., Quincy Hollow section of Levittown for 53 years, prior to moving to Newtown nearly two years ago. He was an original member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council, 4215. Mr. Blair was a Navy veteran of World War II and was employed for 42 years as a truck driver for Philco-Ford, formerly in Willow Grove until his retirement in 1982. Beloved husband of 66 years to Mary T. (McCracken), Mr. Blair is the loving father of Joseph H. (Lacey) of Newtown, Marie C. Bond (Charles) of Levittown, Patricia A. Dalessandro (Joseph) of Newtown, Betty Ann Simpson (James), Kathleen M. Shortt (Kenneth) and Diane M. Harker (late Bud) all of Levittown and the proud grandfather of 16. He will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 9:00 until 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial contributions in his name be made to Saint Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
