George M. Garrison George M. Garrison passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, at the age of 85.Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, George was a longtime Levittown resident. Until retiring in 1990, he was employed with the Pennsylvania Railroad and then with Penn Central and Conrail for 38 1/2 years as an Assistant Director of Labor Relations.Mr. Garrison was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Levittown, where he enjoyed playing softball on the Church's team and was a former coach for Middletown softball.He loved vacations with his family and was an avid Phillies and Cardinals fan. Beloved husband of the late Joann (nee Klinger), Mr. Garrison is the loving father of Kathy Garrison Stone of Levittown, Susan Garrison Smyth (Michael) of Langhorne, and Michael Garrison (John) of Yardley. He is the devoted grandfather of six grandchildren and proud great grandfather of 4.George will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 8, 2018, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 10:00 am.
