George Forsyth

Born and raised in Allentown, NJ, Mr. Forsyth has been an original Levittown homeowner in Bristol Township since 1954.

Until his retirement in 1985, Mr. Forsyth was a Quartermaster with the former Sun Oil Company in Newark, NJ for 37 years. He had proudly served in the United States Merchants.

In his retirement, Mr. Forsyth enjoyed golfing and was extremely proud of both his vegetable and rose gardens. He was also a skilled woodworker.

Mr. Forsyth is the beloved father of the late Julia Spevak; grandfather of the late Bobby Spevak; great grandfather of the late Chasey Herold; and brother of the late Harry Forsyth and Marion Terry.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted daughters, Betty Ritts (Frank) and Patti Rose; grandchildren, Mary Wiesemann (Jeff), Joanne Tyler (Jim), Michelle Pirog (Shawn), Jennifer Crispi (Joe); Kevin Spevak (Tina); Niki Kenner (Chris) and Cindy Armstrong (Jay); 20 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 8:30 until 9:30 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
