Born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, the son of William and Mildred Dorsey. Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen; two sons, Brian and Steven; a daughter Christine; a daughter-in-law, Zulfiya; and two beautiful grandchildren, Emma and Julian.
Gary was retired from US Steel Fairless and a US Navy veteran Chief Petty Officer for 22 years. He was an avid hunter, a ham radio operator, and an Eagles and Phillies fan.
His funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056 where family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.. Interment will follow at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pa. 18940 at 11:30 a.m.
