Gail Diane Drinnan, age 65, was taken from her loved ones entirely too soon on March 9, 2024. She fought a valiant fight for 60+ days after heart bypass surgery with her loved ones by her side. There are no words to describe the loss felt by her family.
Gail was born in Philadelphia to parents Dick and Diane Drinnan on December 23, 1958. She grew up in Vermillion Hills in Levittown and graduated, class of 1976, from Pennsbury high school. Gail resided with her husband Bob in Morrisville. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard Vernon Drinnan and Grace Diane Drinnan and her husband Joseph Quinn. She is survived by her husband Robert March, brothers David Drinnan, Daniel Drinnan (Patty) sister Jean Viggiano (Rich), godson David Drinnan, and step son, Joe Quinn.
Gail worked as a CNA for Statesman nursing home for 25 years. She was dedicated to providing outstanding care to each of her patients every day. Prior to that she worked at 3M Corporation for 12 years as the site Security Manager.
Gail loved to work in her gardens and looked forward to it every spring. She loved all animals but most important to her were her cats. Mookie was her indoor love and she and Bob took care of many outdoor kitties. Gail had names for all of them and enjoyed being outside in the yard with them. She always had stories to tell of their coming and goings.
A visitation for Gail will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a celebration of life, and inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pennsylvania 19020.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Bridge to Rescue, Bensalem PA or a charity of your choice. We truly believe this is what would make Gail happy. Please keep Gail in your thoughts and prayers.
