Gabriel West RothGabriel West Roth of Trevose, Pennsylvania, passed away August 16, 2017 of Keppra Side Effects.Gabriel attended Trevose Day School, Belmont Hills Elementary School, Hope Christian School, Doane Academy and graduated from Northeast (Philadelphia) Preparatory School. He was listed as a talented Youth by Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth without any preparation.Gabriel was a Cub Scount and Life Scout with Troop 153 chartered to Assumption B.V.M. Feasterville and Troop 228 at the 2010 Boy Scout Jamboree at Camp A.P. Hill. For his Eagle Project he oversaw a crew that rebuilt 180 feet of the split rail fence that separates the pond from the trail at Churchville Nature Center.Gabriel was baptized at and attended Grace Episcopal Church in Hulmeville, where he served as an Acolyte and then Crucifer.Gabriel had a quiet but outgoing personality and was able to talk (and play) with children and seniors. He loved to volunteer and did so at Grace Episcopal Church, Hope Christian School and Doane Academy and helped several other scouts with their Eagle Projects.Gabriel liked history (especially World War II), Star Wars and cars. He attended many of the "Midnight Club" car meets in Northeast Philadelphia. Even if he could not drive he would ride his bike to get there.Gabriel is the beloved son of Mark Eric and Candace Ann Carley-Roth. He is the grandson of Shirley Gaskins of Rendondo Beach, CA; nephew of Robert Bruce Carley (Sheila) of Long Beach, CA, Karon Aylmer of Muskatine, IO, Pamela Telep (Henry) of Fort St. James, B.C., Lance Roth (Janice) of Colorado, and Dana Roth of Applegate, OR. He will also be sadly missed by several cousins and extended family.Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at Grace Episcopal Church, 313 Main Street, Hulmevile, PA where his funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gabriel's name may be made to Suicide Prevention, Penndel Mental Health, 1517 Durham Road, Langhorne, PA 19047.
