Born in Philadelphia, Emma was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County. Until the closure of the former Woolworth's Department Store, Emma was employed as a waitress at the counter for many years. After retirement, she moved to the West Coast of Florida with her late husband, John. After 20 years she returned to the area to live with her daughter Pat.
Beloved wife of the late John R. Schoen; loving mother of the late Raymond T. Kiter; and dear sister of the late Harold and Charlie Smith. She is also predeceased by her dear friends, the late Betty Crelling-Piccone and Frannie Zaniewski.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia Crelling; grandchildren, Heather Crelling Bouza (Larry) and Adam Crelling (John); and great grandchildren, Hayden and Garett.
Emma is also survived by her brother, Conrad "Jim" Smith (Susan); stepson, John Schoen (Ellen); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her service will be held at 12:00 pm. She will be laid to rest with her late son, Raymond, at Beechwood Cemetery, Bensalem.
