Eileen S. Gale

Eileen S. Gale Eileen S. Gale died on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Majestic Oaks Nursing Home in Warminster. She was 84. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Gale has been a resident of Levittown since 1954 and was a longtime member of the former Immaculate Conception Parish. Until retiring in 1996, Mrs. Gale was a secretary at Clara Barton Elementary School, Bristol Township School District, for 24 years. Mrs. Gale is the wife of the late Allen A. Gale, Jr.; mother of the late Gregory T. Gale; and mother-in-law of the late Thomas J. O'Loughlin. She is the loving mother of Stephen (Cindy); Mark (Yvonne); Michael (Dawn); Linda O'Loughlin; and Meg Gale and sister of Thomas J. Shanahan (Mary Lee). Mrs. Gale will also be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family extends it's thanks to the staff at Majestic Oaks and in particular to Eileen's special nurse for six years, Patti Fagan. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, from 8:30 until 9:30 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am, at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery.
