Edward J. ClancyEdward J. Clancy of Bristol passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home following a long illness with MDS, a blood disease. He was 77.He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Ott) Clancy; loving father of Edward Jr. (Sharon), Diane Wallick (Gene) and Christine Guma (Doug) and devoted grandfather of Jessica, Carly, Kaitlin and Matthew Wallick, Ryan and Michael Clancy and Jamie and Stephen Guma.Ed was the brother of the late Claire Scally (the late Bern), the late John Clancy, Patricia Scally (the late Jim), Charles Clancy (the late Peggy), Jeanette Jones (Griff), Noreen Thomson (Jerry), Jeri Mardt (Tom), Kitty Cusick (Bill), Stephen Clancy (Candy) and James Clancy and brother-in-law of Bill Ott (Meg). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.Ed was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of St. Ann's Social Club. He was an avid golfer and played as often as he could. He also loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Ed's favorite place to go was Georgine's Restaurant. He and Eleanor would go there often and had their own personal seats.Ed was a union bricklayer for over 20 years before joining Bristol Township Community Development for 24 years until his retirement.Family and friends are invited to call from 9:15 until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at precisely 2:30 pm. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown PA 18940.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marine Corps League #1284 Road Detachment, P.O.
