Edmund Barry GrebEdmund "Barry" Greb died, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 65.Born in Scranton, PA, Barry was a longtime Lower Bucks County resident and a member of Queen of the Universe Parish, Levittown.He was a graduate of Bloomsburg University where he was the former President of Alpha Phi Omega "APO" fraternity. He had also attended Rutgers University.Barry was a devoted High School Mathematics teacher from 1972 until 2006. He spent most of his career teaching advanced math in the New Jersey Public School System and finished his career in the Philadelphia Archdiocesan High Schools.Barry enjoyed caring for his cherished family and dogs. He also enjoyed cooking, fishing and was an avid reader.He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council #4215 and the New Jersey Education Association.Barry always had a joke and would make others laugh.He is survived by his "Honface" and childhood sweetheart, his beloved wife of nearly 41 years, Linda A. (Miller) and his loving children, E. Charles (Erin), Jeffrey (Kate) and Meredith (Mike Faust). He was the devoted PopPop of Annika, Gianna and Fiona; and caring brother of Pam Brown and Diane "Nan" Greb. Barry will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews; members of the Miller family; and his dogs, Aimee and Mattie, who were his world.He was predeceased by his son, Christopher B. Greb and his parents, Edmund F. and Stephanie Greb and his wife's parents, Louise and Charles Miller..Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, 1:00 pm at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.There will be no calling hours on Friday or Saturday morning.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barry's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
