Born and raised in North Philadelphia, son of the late Mabel (Jordon) and Ira Williams, Mr. Williams was a 1964 graduate of the former Cardinal Dougherty High School and of the former Harim Scott College in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, where he achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree.
Until his retirement in 1994, Mr. Williams was a Health and Physical Education Teacher with the Camden City Public Schools District for 25 years. He was a member of the NJEA, NJNEA and the Men's Breakfast Club.
Mr. Williams was an active member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Fairless Hills.
Husband of the late Rosslyn, Mr. Williams is the father of Damon A. (Rebecca); grandfather of Deja; and brother of Joyce Williams and the late Douglas Tanner Williams.
Mr. Williams will also be sadly missed by his fiancee, Ethlyn Clark Bruce and her family, Mercedes Bruce Anderson (Keith), Dr. Elliott Bruce (Maria) and their children, Chelsea, Jordan, Stephen and Bryanna; several nieces; nephews; extended family; and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 6, 2020, from 7:30 until 9:00 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
