Deborah Olive Worrell Troth passed away Wednesday November 13, 2024 at St Mary's Hospital at the age of 77. Deborah was born in Bristol, Pa and moved to Fairless Hills, PA where she was raised. After graduating from Pennsbury High School in 1965 she met and married her husband William B Troth III in 1967. After marrying she lived in Pordenone, Italy for a few years with her husband. Shortly thereafter she had her first son William. She visited numerous countries and cities throughout Europe during this time. After returning to the states she settled in Levittown where she had her second son, Robert, later returning to her family home in Fairless Hills in 1985 where she spent the rest of her life.
She retired in 2013 after being employed as a medical transcriptionist, most notably at Lower Bucks Hospital and Mercer-Bucks Orthopedics. She especially enjoyed her monthly dinners with past co-workers.
Mrs. Troth was an avid reader, boater, animal lover and traveler. She loved collecting memories, usually in the form of giraffes. She was thankful for everything she had and remembered the story behind every gift she had received. Her favorite times were when she was with family and friends, watching any or all of them enjoying and experiencing life.
Mrs. Troth was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William B Troth III, her parents Donald and Olive Worrell, sisters Donna and Beth and brother Leslie.
She is the loving mother of William IV residing in Fairless Hills and Robert residing in Langhorne. She is grandmother to three grandsons, William V in Fairless Hills, Michael in Washington DC and Tyler in Philadelphia. She is the great grandmother to Willow, Ashton, Penelope and Liam. Also surviving are her brothers Steve (Sandy), Don (Becky), Gary (Denise) and Chris (Lyn) plus many nieces and nephews including her goddaughter Dori and her niece Nora.
A memorial gathering for Deborah will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056.
