David worked alongside his Stepfather, Matt, as a heating and air conditioning Lead Service Technician.
Larger than life, David was the life of the party. His smile was contagious and loved to make people laugh. Always willing to lend a helping hand, David would help anyone in need. He made a lasting impression on anyone he came in contact with.
He devoted most of his spare time to his life passion of being a firefighter where he gained the nickname “Earl”. He was an active member of Edgely Fire Company #1, Station 10, “Ten House” since 2017 where he had several close friends that he spent time with.
During his free time he enjoyed playing video games, fishing and riding both of his motorcycles.
David will be deeply and sadly missed.
Beloved son of Melody (nee Ems) Strimpel and David John Widmann Sr., along with his Stepparents, Matthew Strimpel and Tina-Louise Widmann. Loving brother of Hailey Widmann. Grandson of Kent and the late Wilma Ems “Ranch & Mom Mom”, Christine McCoy (Kevin) “Mom Mom” and the late Fredrick Widmann Sr.
He will be sadly missed by his immediate family members, including Aunt and Uncle Holly & John Cramer, Uncle Fred Widmann Jr, along with cousins Kent (Danielle) & Nicholas Cramer, Courtney & Ryan Widmann and along with his immediate and extended stepfamily members including, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in David's name may be made to the Edgely Fire Company #1, Station 10, "Ten House", 1200 Edgely Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
