Clayton Stahl Clayton Stahl of Levittown passed away at his home on November 30, 2013 after a 2 ½ years battle with esophageal cancer. Clay was born in Schenectady, NY on April 24, 1935 to his late parents Clayton and Marian (Luther) Stahl. He had no siblings. Clay served his country in the Army Reserves. He and his wife, Pat (Ebel), were married in Albany, NY on November 30, 1957. He worked his entire career, 38 years, for General Electric. Clay held a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel Institute and a MS in computer science from University of Pennsylvania. Clay was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams and enjoyed computers, golf, travel, fine dining and wine. He was a local baseball and softball umpire for 30 years. With Pat and a few friends, Clay helped to found the Bucks County Dining Club which has flourished for 24 years, providing its members with many unique dining experiences and new friends. In addition to Pat, left to cherish him and their own personal memories of him are his beloved children Penny Griffith of Levittown, Susan Valentis and her companion Jude Pawlowic of Bristol, Clayton A. Stahl and his wife Christine (Gannon) of Langhorne. His Grandchildren: Patti Griffith Leffler and her husband Frank, Jennifer Griffith Nunez and her husband Andre, Joy Micklas Hayner and her husband Jason, Michele Stahl Barnard and her husband Patrick, Chrissy Griffith, Shannon Stahl Mitchell and her husband Jason, Tommy Griffith, Sean Stahl, Patrick Krystkiewicz and his wife Heather. His Great Grandchildren: Alyssa Griffith, Celine Nunez, Jason Hayner Jr., Jack Hayner, Vincent Mitchell, Paige Barnard. The family would like to thank the Holy Redeemer Home Hospice team for their compassionate and professional service. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, from 8:15 until 9:15 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054 followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19111 or St. Michael the Archangel Church, at the above address.
