Clarence E. Lawhorn Clarence E. Lawhorn passed away peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Lower Bucks Hospital, Bristol, after a brief illness. He was 83. Born in Raphine, VA, to the late Margaret (Coffman) and Bossie Lawhorn, Clarence has been a resident of Newportville for the past 27 years. He was employed as a salesman in the carpet industry for many years and served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Lawhorn was a singer and country music entertainer for many years known to many as "Country Cousin Clarence". He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Clarence enjoyed spending time with his family, most importantly playing Canasta and hoping to win with his partner, Sue, over Pat and Reba. Mr. Lawhorn was the beloved husband of nearly 27 years to Reba A. (Kaczmarksi); the loving father of Stephen, Michael (Beth), Timothy (Sarah), Rebecca Lawhorn, Scott and Patrick (Susan) Foley. He will also be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; brother, Massie Lawhorn; sister, Dorothy Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 grandchildren and a sister, Margaret. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 11:30 until 1:30 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society Bux-Mont, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
