Christopher M. Mongillo of Langhorne died suddenly on Friday, January 11, 2013. He was 15. Born in Bristol Township, Christopher has been a lifetime resident of Langhorne and was a 10th grade student at Neshaminy High School. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace parish where he played CYO basketball and refereed pee wee basketball. Christopher also played for the Hulmeville Soccer Club, Penndel Wildcats Football and participated in Southeastern PA and Neshaminy Youth Wrestling. He loved fishing and sports, playing ping pong and coin collecting. Christopher was the beloved son of Mark A., Sr. and Joyce A. (Moeller) Mongillo. He was the loving brother of Mark A. Mongillo Jr. (Samantha Renson) and Ryan J. Mongillo and the devoted uncle of Robbie Renson who he loved with all his heart. He was the cherished grandson of Edna and Bernie Moeller of Trevose and Raymond and Margaret Mongillo of Penndel and will be greatly missed by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the family dog, Pudgey. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Ave., Penndel followed by Rite of Committal at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to establish an educational trust fund for Christopher's nephew Robbie Renson would be appreciated payable to Mark A. Mongillo, Jr. c/o 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056.
