Christine Renee Lugo

Born in Norfolk, VA, the daughter of the late Harriet (Pontow) and Arthur Carrier, Christine has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 2017. Until her retirement, she was employed with Verizon for 35 years.

Christine's family moved to Knotts Island, NC and resided there until she was 15. The family then moved to Brooklyn, NY, where Christine met the love of her life, John. John had a car service and he picked her up one day from work, and they instantly hit if off.

Christine enjoyed reading, bingo, listening to music and singing. She especially enjoyed talking to and meeting new people.

She also enjoyed sewing, watching her tv shows, playing her Facebook games, coloring and drawing, and working on crossword puzzles.

With everything she enjoyed, she especially loved spending time with all her grandchildren and family, and talking to her sister everyday.

Beloved wife of the late John, Christine is the loving mother of Christina Lugo, John Lugo and Jennifer Lugo Allen; devoted grandmother of Angelina and Kayla Llenas, Michael and Liliana Lugo, Grace Allen and Jacklyn; and dear sister of Karen Timmons.

Christine is predeceased by her husband, parents and brother Wayne Carrier.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
