Known for his warm and witty personality, positive outlook, sparkling blue eyes and great hair. Chuck loved animals, enjoyed the outdoors, good food, Nascar and Rock N' Roll. Most of all, Chuck loved people. He loved to laugh and greeted everyone with a warm smile.
Chuck served in the US Army and was deployed during the Vietnam War; receiving an honorable discharge. Afterwards he was employed and later retired from US Steel where he worked as a mechanic in the Mobile Shop.
Preceded in death by his father Charles Kuhar, his mother Mary Louise Kuhar (Dillalogue), his brother Dennis Joseph Kuhar, and his forever friend, Donna Mohollen.
Chuck is survived by his sister Sammi Kruscavage, his brother-in-law Mark Kruscavage, his nieces Jenna Ball and Courtney Kruscavage and his son Anthony Kuhar.
The family would like to extend their deepest condolences and heartfelt thanks to the staff of Oxford (Attleboro) Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Chuck resided at Oxford for the past twenty-one years and was loved by both the staff and residents. Chuck enjoyed a full life there considering his circumstances. He greeted everyone with a smile, he was the President of the Residents and DJ of the dining hall.
A memorial service will be held at Oxford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Chuck’s name to the Oxford Healthcare and Rehabilitation Residents Event Fund.
