Catherine Mary Titus passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024 at the age of 79 while home in bed surrounded by family. Cathy was a premature baby born on May 8, 1944 in Trenton, NJ, weighing only 2 pounds at birth. She had been a fighter since day 1, and carried that fighting spirit with her to the very end. Our small but mighty warrior, she was a loving mother and Nonnie to all who knew her.
In her early years, Cathy was a graduate of Hamilton High School West before working at Circle F in Trenton as a factory worker, and later at K-Mart in Lawrenceville. Cathy found solace and strength in her Catholic faith.
When she wasn’t eating candy and binge watching Law & Order or Hallmark movies, Cathy enjoyed spending quality time with her enormous family. She loved to relax at the beach or soak in the sun by the pool, and couldn’t wait to show off how tan she was getting! She enjoyed traveling and spending long weekends at her grandson's house in Delaware, moments that brought her great joy and created cherished memories for everyone.
Cathy is survived by her daughter, Deborah McIntyre (Gary), and sons Stephen and Russell Titus; sister Joan Rue, and brother Stephen Ivanochick (Kathy). She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Helen (Sulewski) Ivanochick; sisters Linda Gunderman, Christine Ivanochick, and Janet Dancy; and daughter Beverly Lynn Weisgerber.
A viewing for Catherine will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, with a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Everyone is encouraged to wear purple, her favorite color.
