Catherine CavanaughCatherine Cavanaugh died on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at her daughter's home in Warminster, PA. She was 85.Born and raised in North Philadelphia, Mrs. Cavanaugh was a 1947 graduate of the Girls High School.She was a Bristol Township resident for the past 58 years and was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Levittown.Mrs. Cavanaugh was a former employee of the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia and the former Big C in the Fairless Hills Shopping Center as a sales clerk. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, the Food Channels, and cherished her Saturday morning breakfasts with her family.Beloved wife of the late Patrick J., Mrs. Cavanaugh was the loving mother of Catherine A. Kates (Neil) of Warminster and Patricia L. Comer (William) of Levittown.She was the devoted grandmother of David Comer (Carrie); great grandmother of Carter, Chase and Paige; and sister of Anna Bilda of Bensalem.She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
